We also started a new stage in our life as a foster family. Another form of testing. It is fun to have a little one crawling around the house. Arranging my life around nap times and Dr appointments, packing a bag for any trip outside the house, that is the new norm for us. Hopefully soon his family will be ready to have him and care for him again but until then we will love on him and cherish his days here. Taking tests the first full week our little new friend was here was nice since they are quite a lot easier and less time consuming then regular schoolwork. We could adjust to having a small one around here and not be all consumed with studies in the morning. It has been back to the grind this week though and he has been really good while Gregory, Beatrice and I work on stuff he plays beside us in the living room or in my lap.

It has been testing time for us too. Aaron and Megan did their tests this week. I meant to send them off yesterday but still haven't gotten it done. We have time as they got them done in a few days but I thought it would be nice just to get them off. Yesterday we got back the results from Jonathan and Mara's ACT tests so that was fun. Mara managed to match Ken's scores from when he took it as a Junior (he did go higher as a senior) so that was kind of fun. Jonathan obviously is not really ready for that test but we didn't expect him to be. He did fine I think for his age. Surprisingly to me - Science was the one he really, really had trouble with. He had told me he thought it was in a different language. :-)
