Making Aprons
Margaret and I designed a couple of aprons this week. We have some friends getting married tomorrow. They are older and have established homes so I didn't figure they needed the things someone just beginning would need. Last week, after much contemplation by Margaret, I decided matching aprons, hot pads and a scone mix would be just what they needed, that I could do.
Because Cindy's left side doesn't function I thought it might be handy to not need to tie the back of her apron. So I crisscrossed straps from bib top to waist on either side. I like the way it turned out I just hope it fits her ok. She is a little smaller than I am so I think we are good.
I haven't been sewing as much as I would like to. My list is getting quite long with the items that need sewn. So I am really happy this actually got done. It was a lot of fun to work with the girls on this to.

Were you all well enough to go to the wedding? ..... We had lots of extras at church from the wedding up our way yesterday. That was lots of fun visiting. Dale did an excellent job with his sermon. Dale, Linda, Barb, Paul and 2 students were able to join us for lunch, too, and that was lots of fun.....Dad is not feeling on top of the world yet.
No we refrained from sharing our germs. Just had a houseful of neighborhood boys instead :) I am sure it was fun seeing everyone! Is dad any better? Did he go to church? We all went to church this morning and do seem better by far today. I made Nahum and Deborah go home though so we could have a quiet time this afternoon just so we could continue our healing trend. Nahum and Nati were back right at 4:30 which is when I said they could return :) THey are still having a lot of company at the Mnassies and Deborah evidently said with them. Alright tat was a long reply :) Goodbye.
