And They Keep on Growing up!

I have been a mother for 18 years and 10 days now. It has been so much fun. I'll always be a mom now but some of my roles are going to change. This year I am realizing just how soon that will be. I truly am excited for these changes and so very pleased with the people my children are becoming.

Goofy,

Helpful,

Loving,

Patient,

Grateful,

Musical, ,

Friendly,

Joyful,

They are mine and I wouldn't have them any other way!

Long before he [God] laid down earth's foundations, he had [my babies] in mind, had settled [on them] as the focus of His love.

What a promise! All the love I have for them is magnified way more by God's love and plans for them. We are entering years of moving on and growing up and stepping out on their own. I won't be every where with them but God is and he knows exactly what they need. We just have to follow him, listen to him, trust him, obey.

What we want to be

So tonight at supper Deborah told us she wanted to be a witch when she grew up. She is pretty excited about the job prospects in that field. Broom riding being the best.

But that got everyone sharing their dreams. Here they are, as we sat at the table:

Beatrice,

Deborah said, "maybe she would be a teacher, too".

Nati thought that being an actress would be fine. I had thought he was aiming to be a comedian for some time now as he thinks he is quite funny! (also I am pretty sure he meant actor :)

Harrison, "a soldier."

Gregory, "A drummer, well a guy that plays lots of music but doesn't sing, like a trumpeter."

Margaret dreams of being a caregiver.
